Brian Hartley is a proud Cherokee Nation Citizen that has reached many goals and milestones. My vast experience, both personally and professionally will enhance Cherokee Nation Administration in moving our District 10 forward! Two benefits that will begin with my becoming your Councilor, which will be steadfastly addressing Cherokee needs and pursuit of advocating to completing those needs!

COMMITMENT TO INDIAN COUNTRY:
As a citizen, and native business owner Brian Hartley has committed himself to Cherokee Nation and all of Indian Country to improve life, promote native to native business, volunteering and supporting our Indian legacy from our ancestors for future generations. The opportunity to serve as your District 10 Cherokee Nation Councilman will allow him the opportunity to expand his reach and work for all of the Cherokee Nation people.

BUSINESS EXPERIENCE:
Brian Hartley currently is the Native American Business Development Officer for Oklahoma State Bank. In this role he has introduced new groundbreaking prepaid debit card system to various tribes throughout the country. He continues to help train and match banking solutions to customers needs to grow their business.
He is also a member of Oklahoma State Bank Board of Directors – 2006 to Present.
In 2014 he developed and initiated NativeKnot.com, a one-source information hub for Native American services, employment opportunities and activities.
He currently volunteers for the American Indian Chamber of Commerce of Oklahoma as a Board Member and Treasurer starting in 2013 to Present.
Brian is a Charter Member of Leadership Native Oklahoma (LNO)
and also served on the Cherokee Nation Economic Development Trust Authority Board as a Board Member and Secretary – 2013-2016.

Brian Hartley attended the University of Oklahoma – Earning a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Management Information Systems (1999).

Voters Registration

Do you need to register to vote? March 31, 2017 is the last day to sign up to vote. Oklahoma State Bank will be happy to fax your Voters Registration Form to Cherokee Nation.

Absentee Ballot Request Forms for the General Election will be accepted on January 02, 2017 to the deadline of April 21, 2017. Oklahoma State Bank will be happy to fax your Absentee Ballot to Cherokee Nation.
