Limitations on County Residence

Eastern Shawnee Tribal Tags are only issued for the state of Oklahoma.  Some Oklahoma counties not considered Indian territory, so we can not issue tags in those counties.  The non-Indian Territory counties are Alfalfa, Beaver, Beckham, Canadian, Cimarron, Cleveland, Ellis, Garfield, Grant, Greer, Harmon, Harper, Jackson, Kay, Kingfisher, Logan, Major, Noble, Oklahoma, Pawnee, Payne, Texas, Woods, and Woodward.

Renewals & Processing
Typically, tags are issued during the posted Tag Office Hours.  If you can not come into the office during these times, please call to make arrangements. Renewals can be processed and ready for Tribal Members who call before they come into the office.  Tags can also be processed through the mail.  Please call the office to find out what documents you need to send.

Reminder letters are never mailed by the Vehicle Registration department due to the cost of postage.
