Cherokee Nation Commerce Department

Cherokee Nation Commerce Services Group dedicated to helping build the economic security of Cherokee citizens and communities. There are programs to build the assets of the Cherokee citizens, advance and encourage small business development and entrepreneurship, promotes artist development and encourages community tourism.

Self-Sufficiency Programs
The Cherokee Nation Self-Sufficiency Program is dedicated to building the assets of the Cherokee citizens by assisting participants to create financial security through the implementation of Mortgage Assistance Program, iSave, foreclosure prevention services, homebuyers education classes, and financial coaching.

Small Business Assistance Center
The Small Business Assistance Center encourages small business development and entrepreneurship through business financing, government contracting and development services for Cherokee citizens.

Artist Development
The Cherokee Nation is very proud of the many talented artists that abound in our people. We believe in developing those talents along with business and marketing support to create a viable business through their art. The artist loan program provides funding for supplies, show and/or booth fees, travel expenses, and equipment. Our staff works with artists to create an individual plan.

Community Tourism
The Cherokee Nation Community Tourism mission is to build sustainable Cherokee communities and citizens through the creation and expansion of tourism opportunities while promoting and preserving the Cherokee culture and heritage.
