The Cheyenne and Arapaho Tribes Tax Commission Motor Vehicle Division is now accepting credit/debit cards for new tag registrations and renewals.

Tag offices will be open the first Saturday each month from 9 a.m. - 1 p.m.

Free Veterans Car Tags

The Cheyenne and Arapaho Tribes Tax Commission Motor Vehicle Division is now offering tribal tags at zero cost for active duty and veteran tribal members.

For any active duty and veteran tribal member, the following are the official required guidelines and items to obtain a tag:

  • DD214-Honorable Discharge
  • An affidavit verifying CAC Card signed by the active duty member
  • The title must be in the individual’s name receiving the free tag along with any lien entry forms or lien releases
  • Insurance verification
  • Valid Driver’s license
  • Metal tag or paper tag on the vehicle
  • Maximum 3 tags per active duty/veteran

Veterans Tag Application

Free Tribal Elder Car Tags

The Cheyenne and Arapaho Tribes Tax Commission Motor Vehicle Division is now offering tribal elders 65 years and older tribal tags at zero cost.

For any tribal elder 65 years and older, the following are the official required guidelines and items to obtain a tag:

  • Tribal member elder 65 years of age and older
  • The title must be in the individual’s name receiving the free tag along with any lien entry forms or lien releases
  • Insurance verification card must be in tribal elder’s name
  • Valid Oklahoma driver’s license
  • Tribal I.D.
  • Metal or paper tag on the vehicle if registering for the first time
  • Maximum of 3 tags (new or renewal)
