Becky Olvera Schultz is a mixed media artist specializing in museum quality art masks inspired by the peoples indigenous to the Americas. The exhibit will include Southwestern and Native American clay and gourd masks, rawhide shields, serigraphs, photography and mixed media works.

Becky has Native American blood from her father and believes her indigenous bloodline, natural talent, research and travel experiences have brought about her specific style of artwork which she has been creating since 1993.

I have directed my consuming interest in the native peoples of the Americas into my own personal art expression. I derive immense satisfaction from putting life into the materials I work with. My art is an extension of my spirit, a piece of my personal vision and a constant source of comfort and healing for me.
