Service Desk Technician

Job Description:

The role of the Service Desk Technician is to ensure proper computer operation so that end users can accomplish business tasks. This includes actively resolving escalated end user help requests within established SLAs. Problem resolution may involve the use of diagnostic and help request tracking tools, as well as require that the individual give in-person, hands-on help at the desktop level during field visits or dispatches. Support the stable operation of the in-house computer network and managing all on site installation, repair, maintenance, and test tasks. Diagnosing errors or technical problems and determining proper solutions. This includes planning, designing, installing, configuring, maintaining, and optimizing all network communication links while ensuring minimal network downtime.
