Nutritious meals available throughout summer for children

PURCELL, Okla. – The Chickasaw Nation will offer a Summer Food Program in the Purcell area.

The Chickasaw Nation Department of Nutrition Services will serve nutritious meals to children at various locations throughout Purcell.

Meals will be served Monday through Friday from June 5 to Aug. 4.

Meals are available to all children ages 1-18 at no charge, regardless of race, color, national origin, sex, age or disability.

Sites and times are as follows:

Chickasaw Nation Nutrition Services, 1530 Hardcastle Boulevard, 10 a.m.-5 p.m.

Wayne Public Library, 212 S. Seifried Avenue, noon-1 p.m.

Rosedale Baptist Church, 37740 Arkansas Avenue, 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m.

Byars Baptist Church, 6th and Ripley Street, call (580) 272-5368 for time.
